Shengdana Chutney Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup roasted peanuts
2 tablespoons grated dry coconut
4-5 green chillies (adjust according to spice preference)
2 cloves of garlic
Small piece of tamarind (about 1 teaspoon tamarind pulp)
Salt to taste
Water (as needed)

Instructions:
Roasting Peanuts:

If your peanuts are not already roasted, dry roast them in a pan until they get a golden-brown color. Allow them to cool.

Blending:

In a blender, combine roasted peanuts, grated dry coconut, green chillies, garlic cloves, tamarind pulp, and salt.
Blend the ingredients into a coarse or smooth paste, depending on your preference. Add water gradually to achieve the desired consistency.

Adjusting Flavors:

Taste the chutney and adjust the salt and spice levels according to your liking. You can add more tamarind for tanginess.

If desired, you can temper the chutney. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter. Pour this tempering over the chutney for added flavor.
