Modak Recipe

200 grams of flour will yield 14 to 16 Modaks.

Add 1 cup boiling water to 1 cup rice flour, 1 tablespoon homemade unsalted butter and salt to taste. Mix it well and steam the mixture for 15 minutes. Knead the dough well after it cools. Make small balls of the dough, flatten with hand, fill with the sweet coconut mixture and make Modaks with hand or in a mould. Steam the Modaks again.
