Fish Curry Recipe: How to Use Our Masala?

Ingredients:

• 500g fish (any firm white fish)
• 2 tbsp Katdare Fish Curry Masala
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
• 2 onions, finely chopped
• 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
• 1 tsp ginger paste
• 1 tsp garlic paste
• 2 green chillies, slit
• 1/4 cup coconut milk
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp oil
• Water

Instructions:
 

1. Clean and wash the fish pieces. Apply 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp salt to the fish and keep aside for 10 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces till golden brown. Keep aside.
3. In the same pan, add chopped onions and fry till translucent. Add ginger paste and garlic paste and fry for a minute.
4. Add chopped tomatoes and green chillies and fry for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add Katdare Fish Curry Masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
7. Add the fried fish pieces and coconut milk. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes till the fish is cooked and the gravy thickens.
8. Serve hot with steamed rice or bread.

Note: Adjust the amount of Katdare Fish Curry Masala and red chilli powder as per your taste preference. You can also add curry leaves and coriander leaves for added flavour.
