Batata Vada Recipe

Prepare the Filling:

• Boil and mash 500g of potatoes until smooth.
• Add the entire packet of Katdare Batata Vada Mix paste to the mashed potatoes.
• Mix thoroughly to create a well-seasoned vada filling.
• Shape the filling into small round balls using your palms.

Prepare the Batter:

• In a mixing bowl, combine the entire packet of Katdare Batata Vada batter mix with 100g of gram flour (besan).
• Gradually add one cup of water, mixing continuously to form a smooth batter.

Coating and Frying:

• Dip each potato ball into the batter, ensuring it is evenly coated.
• Gently shake off any excess batter.
• Deep fry the coated vadas in hot oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crisp on the outside.
• Remove the vadas from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
